If you passed your car test after January 1997 and you need to drive a vehicle weighing more than 3.5t but less than 7.5t, then you need obtain a LGV C1 licence.

This is usually the licence required if you are a paramedic in training, a self-employed plumber or carpenter or if you own a horsebox or looking at a job as delivery or removals driver.
